John M. Carradine
President and Chief Executive Officer

John Carradine joined Healthaxis® Inc. as Chief Financial Officer in March 2001. He was appointed President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company in February 2004 and Chief Executive Officer in October 2005. He has worked in fast-growth companies with both domestic and international operations, focusing on the financial organization of Healthaxis® growth, profitability, and investor relations. Carradine has been instrumental in moving Healthaxis® toward profitability, and in setting the company's financial focus on operational excellence. Carradine is a member of the senior management team that has redefined the strategic direction of Healthaxis®. Before joining Healthaxis®, Carradine served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer for Micrografx from October 1998 through March 2001. He served on the Board of Directors of Micrografx until its sale to Corel Corp. in late 2001. Prior to Micrografx, Carradine worked in various financial executive positions from 1990 to 1998 at Intellicall Inc., a publicly traded telecommunications company. Carradine also served for eight years in executive capacities in finance and accounting at Computer Language Research, Inc., a data services and software provider. He began his career as a public accountant with Arthur Young & Company.

Carradine received a Master's of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas Tech University. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas.

Brent Webb
Senior Vice President and Corporate Counsel

Brent Webb is Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Healthaxis®. Webb joined the Company in January 1999, and provides all legal support for Healthaxis®' day-to-day business operations. He has also been appointed as the Healthaxis® corporate Privacy Officer with responsibility for all privacy compliance related activities and heads up the Healthaxis® internal HIPAA initiatives.

Prior to joining the Company, Webb spent 11 years in private practice in Dallas, including five years as a name partner in the firm of Glenn & Webb, LLP. During his private practice, he represented numerous business clients in all aspects of their organization and operation.
Webb is a graduate of the Texas Tech University School of Law and has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University. He is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas.

Ron Herbert
Chief Financial Officer

Ron Herbert joined Healthaxis as Chief Financial Officer on December 31, 2005. Prior to joining the Company, Herbert served as a consulting CFO for VirtualCFO, Inc., providing fractional CFO and other financial services for companies including venture-backed startups, small public companies, and subsidiaries of international public companies. Herbert previously served as chief financial officer of SANcastle Technologies, Inc., a venture-backed technology startup company. Herbert's experience also includes numerous executive and financial accounting and reporting roles for public companies including Kimberly-Clark, Cyrix, Micrografx, and CompX International.

Herbert began his career as a Public Accountant with Ernst & Young in Dallas, Texas. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Southern Methodist University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas.

Bill Malone
Vice President of Operations

Bill Malone joined Healthaxis in October 1996 as the Regional Manager for the data capture production centers located in Utah. He assumed the role as Vice President of Operations in September 1998 where he was responsible for all production operations. In January 2005 his role was expanded to include the transaction processing functions. Malone also heads the Six Sigma implementation within the company.

Early in his career with Healthaxis, Malone was responsible for implementing the first document processing and document imaging operation for the company. He has also been key in transitioning the data capture production operations to our two offshore facilities.

Malone retired from the U.S. Marine Corps as a Major. Prior to his retirement, he served as the Director of the Marine Corps Financial Management School for two years. He served as a Systems Analysis Review Officer for the Marine Corps logistics/supply and training systems for three years. Also during his military career, he served in various financial management and logistics positions.

Malone received his Bachelor of Science degree in Analytical Management from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1975 and in 1983 he graduated from the Naval Postgraduate School in Computer Systems Management.
