Shilen Patel is the Chief Executive Officer and founder of HealthAxis Group, and has spent his entire career leading companies in the Healthcare IT Space. Prior to founding HealthAxis Group, Mr. Patel was a top executive and part owner of Visionary Healthware for 9 years, overseeing 30x growth and recognition as one of America’s 100 largest Healthcare IT companies and culminating in an acquisition by an international public company. Mr. Patel was also CEO and Founder of both Visionary RCM, Visionary Healthware’s services division focused on medical billing/revenue cycle management; and Renew Medical Supplies, a wholesaler of medical testing supplies to health plans, IPA’s, and other healthcare organizations. He is also an active early stage investor in technology and software inside and outside the field of healthcare. Mr. Patel has earned MBA degrees from both the Columbia University Graduate School of Business and the London Business School; he received his undergraduate degree at Babson College.
Eric Strikowski is the Chief Technology Officer at HealthAxis Group. In this role, Mr. Strikowski manages data center operations, infrastructure technology, and software engineering. He is also responsible for ensuring proper technology selection and developing strategies that are aligned with the enterprise’s vision. Prior to joining HealthAxis Group, Mr. Strikowski was responsible for the development teams at Global TPA; and as Sr. Programmer, he introduced, prototyped, and demonstrated their new technologies, most geared towards the integration of multiple healthcare technology systems. Mr. Strikowski also developed a healthcare CRM and an automated communications system, among various web sites and applications.
Paula Ringlbauer is Senior Vice President of Product Management and Chief Product Officer of the TPA Market at HealthAxis Group. In this role, Ms. Ringlbauer is responsible for managing the product definition and roadmap strategy for HealthAxis’s next generation platform, Core Stack v3.0. She manages a staff who are responsible for developing product requirements, client implementations, quality testing, training and documentation. Prior to joining Healthaxis, LLC, in 1992, Ms. Ringlbauer spent 17 years in a variety of positions within the Healthcare Insurance Industry for major TPAs and Insurance Companies.
Palak Shah is Vice President of Customer Service at HealthAxis Group, overseeing the Coordinated Care Market. In this role, Mr. Shah manages Training, Implementation, Customer Support, Project Management and Business Analysis for multiple system solutions. He brings more than 17 years of experience in healthcare and software systems. Prior to joining HealthAxis Group he held a management position in a publicly traded company.
Ruth Walker is Corporate Director of Human Resources at HealthAxis Group. In this role, she is responsible for guiding and managing the overall provision of Human Resource services, policies and programs for the company. Ms. Walker leads Human Resource practices and objectives that have resulted in an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards. With over 40 years’ experience in Human Resources, Payroll and Accounting, she spent the last 23 years in the Healthcare Technology Industry. Prior to joining HealthAxis Group, Ms. Walker has held various management and executive positions, including VP of Operations at Island Automated Medical Services.
John Carradine is Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at HealthAxis Group. Mr. Carradine was previously CEO of Healthaxis, LLC until its acquisition by HealthAxis Group in 2011; he remains President of Healthaxis, LLC. In his role as COO/CFO, Mr. Carradine manages all operating and finance activities at HealthAxis Group. His background includes both publicly traded and privately owned companies, with national and international scope in the service, software, and telecommunications industries. Mr. Carradine has held executive positions for a number of well established companies, including Micrografx, Inc., a publicly traded software development and services company; Intellicall, Inc., an American Stock Exchange listed telecommunications products and services provider, and Computer Language Research, Inc., a provider of software and data processing services. Mr. Carradine received his MBA in Finance from the Southern Methodist University/Cox School of Business, and his BBA in Accounting from Texas Tech University.
Mike Postlethwaite is Senior Vice President of Business Development at HealthAxis Group. Mr. Postlethwaite brings more than 34 years’ experience in the Healthcare and Insurance Industries and his background includes building a health plan startup into a top Florida HMO; being the lead on the ACS bid/win of Florida’s Medicaid Reform Choice Counselling program; and acting as executive strategist for core market drivers. Mr. Postlethwaite has held executive positions at a variety of healthcare companies, including HolaDoctor, Inc., American Care Inc., and Physicians Healthcare Plans, Inc. Mr. Postlethwaite is an Alumni of Kent State University.
Roxanne Seale is Senior Vice President of Healthcare Application in the Technology and Operations Business unit of HealthAxis Group. Ms. Seale brings more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry, developing business strategies and managing projects to meet both immediate and future corporate objectives. Ms. Seale is responsible for the development and support of HealthAxis Group products and provides leadership for day-to-day operations in the Irving, Texas office. She works with senior level management across product lines to deliver solutions for HealthAxis Group clients. Her experience includes major development projects for Insur-Claims and several large implementations of new clients. Ms. Seale is a graduate of Texas A&M University.
Angela Jackson is the Director of Accounts & Customer Support at HealthAxis Group. Mrs. Jackson joined the company in 2000 and began serving as Director in 2011; she is responsible for project management, developing and maintaining strong client relationships, and leading the company’s customer care and support team. Mrs. Jackson has experience in project management, systems’ implementations and client services. Prior to joining the company she held management positions in Third Party Administration, Claims & Admin Software Implementation and Business Analysis with ISSC, a division of IBM. Mrs. Jackson studied at the University of Oklahoma.
Brent Webb is the Company’s General Counsel. Mr. Webb has served in this capacity for the Company and its predecessors since January 1999 and provides all legal support for HealthAxis Group’s day-to-day business operations. Mr. Webb also serves as the corporate Privacy Officer with responsibility for all privacy compliance related activities. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Webb spent 11 years in private practice in Dallas where he represented numerous business clients in all aspects of their organization and operation. He is a graduate of the Texas Tech University School of Law and has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University. Mr. Webb is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas.
